6a Ballot Measure Short
This November, your libraries in Avon, Eagle and Gypsum are asking voter to consider ballot measure 6A to exempt the Eagle Valley Library District from the impacts of the Gallagher Amendment, which has caused the district's share of funding to steadily decline, and is expected to further erode revenue into the future. 6A adjusts your mill levy to offset losses caused by Gallagher so the district receives the same amount of money as it receives now.
