Youth Summer Film Camp 2025

High Five Film Camp is back for 2025!, and we’re stoked.

Application and Registration will be available late winter/early spring.

Who: Eagle County youth ages 13 to 17, no experience required

When: July 14 to 18, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with a screening of final projects for family, friends and the public on July 18 at 3 p.m.

Where: Harry A. Nottingham Park in Avon, and other nearby locations. Detailed location information will be provided to students and parents after we receive your application. Transportation is not provided.

Why: Discover and develop a passion for video storytelling! Learn the fundamentals of video production and use those skills to write, produce and edit an original short film. No prior experience required, just a readiness to learn and a love of movies, TV or journalism. Curriculum is designed to give students the tools to continue their learning and creative pursuits beyond camp. Students also receive complimentary membership to High Five, which opens the door to additional workshops in advanced concepts, free camera and studio reservations, and volunteer opportunities to gain real-world experience.

Cost: $200. Scholarships are available to students who can provide proof of free/reduced school lunch. Please contact jk@highfivemedia.org for more information.
