virtual video demos
Make Compelling Video Using Your Device
Want to share your story with the community while staying a safe distance from your neighbor?
High Five Access Media is offering free virtual video production demonstrations to Eagle County residents on May 27 and June 24 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. In these workshops, you’ll learn the basics of shooting and editing video using your smartphone or tablet and associated apps and hardware, as well as opportunities to share your story with the community through High Five.
Following the workshop, you'll have the opportunity to continue the journey. The High Five team has years of experience to help you develop an idea for a project and give as much or as little guidance and structure as you need to complete a compelling video.
Then, we’ll place your video on local cable television, stream it on the internet, and offer it on demand for your family and friends to watch, whenever, wherever. And you can post to social media, too!
Registration is required. Please email register@highfivemedia.org with your name, the date you’d like to attend, and the type of device you plan to use. For the time being, High Five is offering free memberships to Eagle County residents who participate in these demonstrations.
High Five Access Media is a nonprofit, noncommercial, grassroots community access media center that is available on Comcast Channel 5 and anywhere, online. HFAM provides coverage of local government meetings, and offers free media education workshops each month to valley residents and nonprofits so they can learn about video production, check out video equipment for free, and express their ideas and advocate for a cause on cable television and the web.
