Community Producer of the Month - Austin Richardson

Community Producer Austin Richardson relishes the opportunity to tell the stories of local clergy’s enlightenment through his show, Focus on Faith.

“Everyone has a story to tell, my goal is to give those tales wings” Austin said. “It takes a couple flaps to get off the ground, but those springy legs make all the difference. Once in flight, the soaring and swooping can begin.”

He describes the Focus on Faith as a showcase for leaders to share their stories in their own words, which is what makes it compelling. He hopes others find it compelling, as well.

Austin began his journey with High Five Access Media many years ago, attending workshops and learning the skills to create video. Recently, he came back into the fold, looking for new opportunities to express his creative chops.

He’s a fixture at High Five, recording his interviews in the studio with clergy and then moseying over to the editing bay to piece together the interview with music, graphics and pride. When he needs a hand, the High Five staff is there to dish out decades of video experience.

“It is my pleasure to work with the staff of High Five Access Media,” Austin said. “They are wholly professional, supportive and enthusiastic about helping local producers realize their personal vision.”
