Veterans Day 2020
Veterans Day is the day to recognize and thank those who served for protecting our country, but every day we live in peace, every day we live the democratic principles that our nation was founded on is because of our veterans. This special segment the product of a collaboration between Eagle Valley Student Media and VFW Post 10721 Minturn for Veterans Day 2020 and the Veterans History Project of the Library of Congress. Full interviews with each veteran will be submitted to the Library of Congress for preservation in a permanent collection documenting the experiences of combat veterans, and shorter profiles like this will be shared on our platform for the community. Students create content for all Eagle Valley Student Media productions and publications acting in accordance with the Colorado Student Free Expression Law (Colo. Rev. Stat. 22-1-120). Any Expression in this production is not an expression of Eagle County Schools policy. The school district and employees are provide immunity from civil or criminal penalties for any expression made or published by students in this production.
