Save the Hahnewald Barn
The Hahnewald Barn symbolizes Avon's roots in early homesteads and ranching. The barn, which has stood for more than 100 years in the center of town, is in danger of being torn down, and would represent a significant loss of history in the town of Avon. In response, a group of citizens formed the Avon Historic Preservation Advisory Board to save the barn and re-purpose the structure as a community gathering center.
